With Anne Hufnagel joining us as Business Development Manager, MediaLab expands her sales department internationally! Meet Anne, a Cologne-based “media connoisseur” with more than 15 years of working experience in the international media industry. In her role Anne will be responsible for making and maintaining contact with clients, media production companies and broadcasters to set a footprint in the German-speaking market.
TV, distribution and audiovisual experience
With her broad experience, Anne worked at several TV and audiovisual companies in Germany. Recently she was Manager at Schickler, a consulting company that is specialized in media, e-business and telecommunications. Before Schickler, Anne was Managing Director at Germany’s Autentic Distribution, a distribution company that is specialized in selling documentary programs worldwide. Hufnagel was on board from the first minute and developed Autentic Distribution into a noteworthy international player in the program sales business within a few years. Before that, Hufnagel headed the Asian/Pacific Distribution team at Germany’s broadcaster Deutsche Welle and was Head of Sales at the distribution entity EMG docs, then a division of Munich's Bavaria Media.
Anne suits the role of a Business Development manager perfectly. With her years of experience in the international media and distribution industry and passion for the digitalization of processes, Anne is able to live out her passion to inspire German media companies with the MediaLab platform solution.
