Inverted colors in uploaded images

If the colors of an uploaded picture appear inverted, the issue is likely due to the image’s color model.

Images prepared for printing often use the CMYK color model (cyan, magenta, yellow, black). Computer monitors and web browsers, however, use the RGB color model (red, green, blue).

Because CMYK is not well supported on screens, images in this mode may appear incorrectly, sometimes showing as color-inverted or negative.

To fix this, convert the image to RGB color mode before uploading it to MediaLab.
