When uploading very large image files (e.g., a 100 MB+ TIFF), the preview may not appear immediately. Unlike regular images, these large files cannot have previews generated instantly and are instead queued for background processing.

Processing time can range from a few minutes to up to an hour, depending on server load and file size.
