MediaLab supports burning timecodes into preview versions of videos.

• Per video – Navigate to File → Recreate and select the Timecode option.
• All uploads – Enable timecode support for all videos via General Settings → Video.

Note: When timecode support is enabled, even videos that would normally bypass transcoding will be transcoded in order to embed the timecode.

MediaLab automatically attempts to detect the correct starting timecode and frame rate from the uploaded video. Both container tags and the video stream are checked for valid timecode information.
